How do cryptids stay so elusive?

What a fun theme this week's Mondays Challenge was! I felt a bit overwhelmed with the different directions the prompt "Cryptids" could go, but in the end I went with a goofy/playful bigfoot type cryptid in sneakers. I did a whole walk... run... skip...tiptoe... uh, it's some sort of locomotion cycle, and it's my first run I've ever done.
The idea as it came to me was how I remember Deedee from Dexter's Lab tiptoeing around. So I designed the character proportions similar to her, but didn't actually go watch her animation. I wanted this to be weird. In addition to the Dexter's lab influence, in my mind this character is like a Bugs Bunny mixed with Yogi Bear, always eluding the drunken park ranger trying to prove he exists.
As usual, I drew everything in Adobe Illustrator and animated in After Effects. I used a Joysticks n Sliders rig for the head turn and the Limber plugin for all the limbs.
